| Shedding I would always take my yorkie to a pet grooming place to get groomed then here recently I started taking him to a cheaper one becasue it was cheap then I stop taking him because they started doing a horriable job so I figured I guess u get what u pay for then I just started bathing him myself then I started to notice all the hair...i use a small white babies wash cloth on him and I mean the entire cloth would be covered in hair to where it looked black then before baths when I would take his shirt off & flip it inside out I notice alot of hair any ideas on why & I keep him very short he will be 3 next week??? |

| First he needs to be examined by a vet to make sure there isnt a medical reason for shedding its not normal for a yorkie to shed. It could be allergies or thyroid problem or something elso

| I agree with chachi. If you are keeping him short he shouldn't Loose that much hair. How long between baths and brushing? Good luck

| I agree with everyone else shedding is not normal for yorkies and your vet should check him out and make sure there is nothing wrong.
