| Welcome to YT! I don't know if there is anything wrong. How old is your new puppy? Have you had your new puppy to the vet for a checkup? That is one thing that is very important to do.

| When I got McKenzie, she was very quiet for a long time. I didn't hear her bark for the first time until she was almost 6 months. She is perfectly healthy, still quiet for the most part. She only barks when someone is at the door or if my brother is around (He picks on her). I was overjoyed when I found out that I got a quiet yorkie. She is almost 3 years old now. |

| Assuming eating, drinking, pottying, and vet visit are fine, then yes, she is fine. New puppies take time to settle in. My new fosters don't usually show their true colors for as much as a month. Give your new girl some time and she'll be barking and zipping all around your house. Best wishes to you both.

| She may just be getting used to her environment. Just make sure she has her vet check. Khloe was a little quiet for a day or so at first. Now I have to tell her to hush. She is a little yapper now. |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Our KS was quiet for a few weeks after we got her. Of course we did take her to the vet asap and she was healthy as can be, so I think she was just getting used to her new home. But soon she made her bark known!

| If she's been checked out by your vet already she should be just fine soon. Ladybug was quiet for about 2 weeks when we got her. She ate drank peed pooped and slept. She was 9 weeks old when we got her and I'm convinced she was missing her mamma and her litter mates. Once she got used to her new surroundings she went from quiet to wild little puppy.

| lol, my Ziggy only barked for the first time at maybe 4 months old, nad he still is really not too barky (he does let you know what he's thinking with little growls, groans and moans though, lol). I say enjoy the quite before your baby discovers she has a voice!lol oh and welcome to YT

| If you are worried that she is not barking then she is probably fine. Callie didnt bark the first time for a very very long time and we even asked the vet if she was ok and he thought so. Even now at almost 5 she rarley ever barks.
