| make up your mind well i to agree wth the moderator that you should steer clrear from breders who use the words teacup when selling yorkies when we all should know by now that a yorkie is a yorkie and what the standards are it just really ticks me off to see a add on this site at the top of the screen teacup yorkie puppies for sale whats up with that?

| I grew up with poodles, so teacup was not an uncommon term to hear. It wasn't until I started reading info about yorkies that I learned yorkies aren't classified the same way. I realize now that some breeders (I use the term loosely ) use "teacup" in an effort to make more money. Personally, with my poodle upbringing, I still hear teacup and think tiny... like when I hear teapot and think fluffy (bigger). I also have to admit I seldom notice the advertisements! Guess I'm just so focused on reading new posts and seeing pictures of everyone's adorable furbabies
