| Should I get another girl? I had planned on trying to find Millie a little brother. i haven't actively been looking i was kind of waiting for one of the two breeders i know to have another litter. Anyway one of these breeders has offered me the last pup she has left which is a girl, Think they were born the first of Feb. She said she would not be breeding her girl next season as she had been done it in the winter, and the other breeder who is her best friend is searching for the perfect stud. Anyway, I am trying to decide if I should get this little girl. I thought a boy/girl combo might work better. I told her if she hadn't found her forever home in the next few weeks I would probably take her. What do you guys think. Are two girls okay together, or are they going to scratch each otherr eyes out???

| well i have a shih tzu - princess whos almost 9 and a 4 1/2yorkie - lola new to the family just by a week. i honestly have to tell you im surprised how well they are doing. princess has been very gentle with her and not what i expected. so far it has worked out and i think bringing in a baby as opposed to older rescue may make the transition that much easier. good luck i say go for it!!

| I think it just depends on the personality of your pup! Sophia is territorial (and can be catty), so I knew a girl wouldn't work for her. But if she's easy going, I think a girl would be fine!!

| I think if they are both spayed, they should do fine together. I think it would depend on the personality of your girl. I have a boy/girl combination, and LOVE it... But I know a lot of people who have girls and say it's great as well.

| We have a female Boxer and I can tell you she would be fine with another female she is as sweet as can be. Georgie on the other hand I don't think would be happy with another dog period I agree with Sarah it depends on your furbabies personality. If you feel like Millie is easy going then I think she would be fine.

| It sounds like you really want a boy. Can you visit this little girl with your Millie to find out how she reacts? It might change your mind if you see how she is with the little one.

| imo, personality and temperment has more to do with whether two dogs will get along than does gender of said dogs..... |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My 3 girls get along great. Once in awhile 2 use to pick on Cali but nothing serious. They all snuggle up together.

| I have two girls. They get along great 99% of the time. They only scrap over Daddy, once in a blue moon They are both spayed. Luna is a little high strung but Izzy is as laid back as a dog can be and still be alive I think you just need to see if they get along with a little meet and greet
