| Carrots? Ok I know Ive seen on YT a few times giving our babies carrots. Since Daisy doesn't eat dry food now, I thought Id try some carrots for her. I bought some baby carrots today. How do I give them to her? Whole? Or break them up...dont want her to choke! Thanks

| I usually give my 2 whole baby carrots, but they're used to them...they just gnaw away at them. I don't know if I'd give her a whole one if she's never had one. Maybe cut ups some small pieces for her & see how she does?

| Just my opinion , If she have difficulty with her teeth , maybe it would be better if you don't give carrots to her . |

| Ginger won’t eat them unless they’ve been steamed. I have steamed veggies at least twice a week, so I always make her extra and I give her as much as she wants (I’m trying to plump her up a bit).

| I would steam the carrots so that they are softer for her to chew.

| All my dogs have eaten carrots and love them. I give them whole carrots and let them go at it. I think they are a wonderful food. My dogs get at least one carrot a day --and they usually eat all of it ---and sometimes come back for more. Carol Jean |

| Miko used to eat carrots and he loved them. We usually gave him the baby carrots, and he would just chew away! |

| Kelli ate carrots but always steamed. We always made extra veggies throughout the week and mixed them in her food (green beans and carrots, we'd switch off), she just LOVED carrots. I never gave them to her whole, always cut up into pieces. Partly because she couldn't stand to eat big pieces of food, lol, and also because she was missing quite a few of her front teeth and it was hard for her.
