| What is this? Breathing problems? Allergies? This morning, around 2:30 am LOla woke us up with her breathing. Her mouth was closed and all what she was doing was breathing heavily thru her nose. I found a video on YouTube about a yorkie with the same type of " breathing noises" Lola did this morning. This is the first time she ever does this. Here is the video YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.. Does anyone here know what It could be? |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Was that the first time Lola did it? Was she excited about something?

| That would probably be the reverse sneeze. Jack kind of sounds like a goose... do a search on reverse sneeze / yorkshire terriers. The first time Jack did, it scared my husband, I knew what it was from reading about it. It sounds worse than it actually is and I still feel bad for Jack whenever he has a bout of his reverse sneezes. Hopefully that's all it is. Good luck!

| Yep, that's a reverse sneeze. What's the weather doing in your area ? My Taylor does this & it's way worse in the spring when things are blooming & yesterday he could not stop so I gave him a 1/4 ChlorTab & it stoped. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I would also say Reverse Sneezing. Taycie did that once to me at 3:00 in the morning and I freaked out. She's never done it since.
