| Are you kidding me?? Someone needs to slap this girl silly. She's breeding a 3.5lb female to a 5lb male? What part of danger doesn't she understand? AKC registered Yorkie puppies!! - Dogs - Pets and Livestock - Eagle Mountain - For Sale - Classifieds | ksl.com |

| No matter what the size of the male a 3 pound female should never be breed and even if she learns that lesson the hard way I am sure she will keep doing it.

| I wouldn't breed any female under 5lbs and even then *I*, personally wouldn't because i have no experience in doing so. But that... wow... I feel for the bitch. It's kinda like getting raped by the Incredible Hulk. |

| I'm curious...just for curiosity sake... as to what size difference is appropriate and at what size it becomes a problem. Obviously there are humans of varying size that reproduce together and in most instances the male is larger....sometimes significantly larger.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | this is a well known fact on breeding circles, NO female under 5 pounds should be bred regardless of the size of the male, the female regulates the size of the pups up to whelping time, but a small female will have smaller pelvic bone making even the smallest of puppy heads too big to fit thru the birth canal. the smaller the female the higher the risk of a c-section or death caused by a stuck puppy.. loss of female and pups risks are very high.. hugs, Last edited by carmen in nj; 04-20-2012 at 05:13 PM. |

| The facts mean very little to these people. I think many of them lie about the weight of the parents. There are ways to get around showing the actual parents. So many people come here with pictures of their puppies that have no mom or dad available when they went to pick up their puppy. Then they wonder why their puppy that was supposed to be 4lbs when mature is 3lbs at 3 months! |
