| stroller prices? So my mom is away on vacation and saw a dog stroller at winners for 49$ its so cute and has a mesh door(she sent a photo)... i never even imagined i'd ever want to buy a dog stroller, but when we go to public crowded places i'd be nice to know shes safe. i thought this was a great buy but i'm still uncertain if i am going to get her to pick it up for me or not.. is 49$ a good deal?..also those who bought strollers do you actually get any use out of it? or will it just sit there collecting dust bunnies?.. i feel kind of embaressed about having to push it around, i live in a small town where people are judgemental n love to talk. lol.. but if they had a yorkie they'd understand ..she gets so heavy too after a few mins i feel my arm will break. Pets are not allowed in any stores around here. so was hoping to take her in the stroller, people would just think its a baby LOL. My father said if people see me pushing my dog around in a stroller they'll have me committed..LOL.. Anyways was hoping people could share thier stroller experiences, if you get your use out of it or not the price you paid, what i should be looking for in a stroller, if you are embaressed pushing it around..etc.. thanks |

| hahaha, I was just having this "discussion" with hubby and a friend this evening. I use my stroller for lots of things. I am currently dog sitting my neighbors 2 yorkies so I have 4 dogs that I walk pretty much, 3 or 4 times a day. Depending on the day and how the dogs are, I take the stroller and usually 1 is in it when heading out. As each does his/her business, I swamp them out. lol It's easier to handle 3 on leash at a time and then sometimes during the longer walks, I will have the 2 smaller ones in the stroller. I've used my stroller when I am by myself and want to take the 2 of them out and about. Even at the dog park, it's nice to have just case I want give them some time apart from other dogs. It does come in handy. I also live in a smaller type community and have gotten a few weird looks but I'm not concerned with those looks, my babies are safe and happy in the stroller. That's what matters to me. But for the most part, people think it's cute and the dogs even cuter. $49 is a really good price!

| here is our stroller. It's made for 2. It is also nice to use on hot days to put them in the stroller and then I can continue my walk.

| I just purchased a stroller off ebay. It was nearly $60, but I wanted something that was big and sturdy enough for my two big boys (10 and 14 lbs). DH and I will now be able to take the boys a lot more places and will also be handy when taking them to the vet. The price you quoted is good. As far as people talking--let them! I live in an extremely small rural town in the deep South, and somebody is always talking about somebody else. If all they talk about is your pushing dogs in a stroller, then you're good! If the word "spoiled" comes up-just smile and say that there is no such thing as spoiling a baby-human or dog. Hope this helps! |

| I like the idea of a stroller, but I just cannot convince the dh It would be nice in crowded festivals and for days when we walk all day, and then have to carry them because they don't want to walk anymore lol. I've heard of a lot of people who have injured dogs who take them out in the stroller so they can be outside without having to walk. I think $49 is a great price!

| Callie is around 16 pounds but still seems so small to me and although she is very friendly and loves dogs and people if we are at a pet expo or any where crowded she gets a little overwhelmed and will beg me to pick her up and 16 pounds can be a lot to carry around for a few hours so I got a stroller and she loves it and it keeps my hands free and holds all the goodies I get. Most of the time we only use it at pet expos but I have used it when we went out of town a few times but I have never gotten made fun of for it people smile and say that's neat and pet Callie. Personally I wouldn't care much if someone said anything any way its my dog and my business and keeps her from getting stepped on and overwhelmed. I will always do what I feel is best for Callie and if other people don't like it that's there problem not mine. My dad made fun of it at first but saw how happy Callie would get when she would see her stroller come out and then try to climb herself into it if we didn't pick her up and put her in there fast enough (and Callie had her grandpa wrapped around her paw) and now he likes to steal it from me to push Callie around and its pink! My mom and dad also rescued a yorkie who is slightly scared of other dogs so he likes to sit toward the back behind Callie and is much better then if he where on the ground shaking to death. I got a slightly larger then average stroller sense Callie is 16 pounds and it was around 60 bucks on ebay and it holds Callie and my moms 16 pound rescue.

| I bought a stroller, a Camo one. It was 55$ so ya 49$ is a good buy!! If it were me I would buy it! I love my stroller. I didn’t think I would use it, but I have been taking Peanut everywhere with me LOL- He has been to Walmart, Cvs, Walgreens, Home Depot, Lowes oh and the Mall! DH didn’t understand the purpose of it when I bought it, but now he loves it just like me!
