| My yorkie has started to hide her treats. Hi, i just noticed today everytime i have gave my yorkie a treat she will hold it in her mouth and run around with it then she will bury it anywhere she can find as if she is trying to hide it. If i go and find it, she will pick the treat back up in her mouth and will watch me carefully, when she thinks i'm taking no notice she will then go off to find another hiding place. She will then watch carefully as if she is guarding her hidden treat. I have also noticed she keeps rubbing her nose on the floor when she is around her food. Does anyone know why she could be doing it, or if it means anything? |

| Cooper will walk around the house for hours looking for the perfect hiding spot for his bones or treats. He used to just put them in the middle of the floor in a room as if it was a great spot but now he is getting sneakier. Of course Max follows him around while he's calculating because he wants to eat the hidden gem!

| Not sure about rubbing her nose on the floor... but my Tillie hides a piece or two of kibble every evening. I kept moving them to one specific corner of the sofa (where their blanket is tucked in so it doesn't end up lost IN the furniture ) And now, that's where she hides things

YT 1000 Club Member | Romeo loves to hide food as well and I don't consider it an issue at all. I believe it's the "terrier's" natural instinct. The cutest part is that he remembers where he buried his treasures!!!

| Sugar plays with NO toys. BUT..... She will hide her treat (sometimes taking 20 minutes) and then B A R K at me when the treat is sufficiently hidden I then have to search the house for said treat......sometimes ad nauseaum ( I have been known to cheat and substitute a fake treat to return to my sitcom )

| Haha! These stories are histerical! Brooklyn hides her treats all the time! Even funnier, my mother-in-law has a silky terrier & she hides her treats a well, whenever I bring Brooklyn over for a doggy play date her first order of business is to sniff out silkies hiding spots and steal ALL of her treats. Tooooo funny! The personalities on these dogs are awesome! Brooklyn always makes me laugh with her antics! LoL! |

| I have treat bidders too. What is cute to me is when your cleaning and you find their hidden treats. I just leave them if they haven't been there too long. |

| ME TOO! Tucker hides his bones...he doesn't trust hiding his treats. If Lola finds a treat she will eat it but if Lola finds his bone he just wrestle's it out of her mouth and hides it again. She doesn't mind her tail is wagging the whole time and she has this smirk on her face like "Ha, come and get it big boy....I found your bone"! |

| So Polo will run around for about an hour moving the treat from here to there... and as soon as he has it hidden, he starts to whine... and then runs and moves it again.. He has gottrn stuck behind several pieces of furniture while doing this... the most ironic part is, he always ends up eating it and not hiding it! So when I take him for a walk and he lifts his leg... he does his bull kick, where I think he is trying to cover what he just did... the funniest thing is that he kicks dirt and grass everywhere, except for where he just went!
