| What A Scare What a scare for us and our Kinder. Thursday nite she wanted to jump up to Daddy with her nylabone and she did not really jump. She was on her hind legs and fell bakwards grunting in pain. We scrambled and got her to a vet. He gave her a shot and put her on Metcam for three days. The vet said her right hind leg the knee is a little looser so he figured she popped the knee out and back in. Our vet back home said she is a LP1 so I hope all will be well with her. Yesterday she was doing great and this morning really good. I keep her on a lease in bed so she does not jump off on her puppy stairs, we want her to rest. What is really scary we are on warranty work with our motorhome in Alabama but thank God everyone is so helpful. Kinder loved her new vet. It just is scary when something like that happens and we want to do the best for our little girl if she eventually has to have surgery. The worst is when you see your two year old in pain I feel it.Please say a prayer for her. Susan |

| With LP its best to keep them from jumping at all even when they seem to be feeling great. Hope she is feeling better.

| Poor girl. We have ramps to prevent jumping. My male has grade 1 LP so I really keep an eye on him... He isn't allowed to jump and consistently uses his ramp. The vet also said to make sure to not allow him to get overweight. He is at a perfect weight right now, so I make sure to keep an eye on that as well.

| Hope Kinder continues to improve, sending prayers for your sweet baby. It was great to see your quick response to her needs I know it is so awful to see our little loves in any kind of pain. Zhoie sends many hugs to Kinder!

| Thank you everyone for your kindness and prayers. Kinder is doing great tonight and we are working on her not to jump up. Poor baby wants to play with her ball ;she loves jumping up to catch it. When I have her on the bed I keep her on a leash so she cannot jump down. We have puppy stairs but I just want her to rest those little legs. She is loving every moment but of course she is with us twenty four hours a day. Well thanks again. I will really be relieved when we get home so our doctor can check her out. Susan |
