| Be Honest, How Many? Ok, now. Let's be completely honest here. How many Yorkies would you have in your house if you could? I would have three or four I think. I could really see me having numerous! But DH says no more than 2 for us. But I see more when I retire!! Just don't tell him!

| If money were no object, I would have dozens With a full-time staff to do all the grooming, cleaning, and icky stuff. I would just play and love all day long! I'd probably have a few other toy breeds too, love Chihuahuas, Maltese, and Poodles too. I'm dying for a little male, black toy poodle but can't do it right now.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I really loved having 2, and I really love having 3 now. I'm not sure we'd want more than that...bc I'd prob start to wonder if I was being spread to thin or something, with loving them all up enough. But who knows? They're so lovable, so who can resist?

| I honestly could see myself with no more than 3 and that is after retirement. Two is my limit for now. I would be afraid I couldn't keep up with the care of 3 and give them the attention like I do for my 2 right now.

| Right now I have 1 Yorkie, 3 IGs, and 2 Afghan Hounds. I'm also fostering a toy poodle until we find her forever home. Yes, 7 dogs! But it's actually not hard at all - but half of them being "wash and go" helps, so I only have the Afghans and my Yorkie that need slot of grooming. The poodle we keep in a short clip, so she's basically wash and wear as well. I'm at my max for now, but down the road I'd love another Yorkie or two after some of my older dogs cross the bridge - but hopefully that won't happen for a long time yet! |
