| Tank does this!! It's so funny!! I've noticed that he does it when he's trying to reach the "far end" of his food bowl...it's hilarious, he also does a little happy feet dance with his back legs while he's eating too...apparently he just gets so excited to eat! Haha! I'm glad he's not the only one though!

| ziggy did this when he was super tiny (500grams tiny) and was trying to reach the back of his food bowl without having to move... lol! its cute

| I've seen puppies of several breeds/mixes do it...puppies will sometimes tip their faces into the food dish when they do it, and saw Brody do it once reaching out a little too far. Mia has never done it that I have ever seen...but my 'granddaughter' dog (a Chi) has done it several times when she was staying with us temporarily. It is maybe a little more common with certain breeds, such as Chihuahua's, etc. who have more weight up front than toward their hind quarters. It is so cute though. lol

| Oh my goodness! Handstands remind me of Coral, My Silky Terrier. She could make her back legs go completely up in the air when she would mark outside. It wasn't until I got her that I even knew that females would mark their territory. I was so amazed when i first saw her do this !!! |
