| Troy is getting a dental Hey Everyone, I haven't posted in a while. I've been so busy with work! Troy is turning 3 this July and is having his first dental this week. Im a little nervous. I know he needs to have some teeth extracted. His breath is horrible and I know thethat this will help but I'm so nervous. It scares me that he'll be under anesthesia and it makes me nervous about how much money I'm going to spend at thetvet. The initial quote for everything bloodwork, antibiotic, xray, 3 possible extractions was $260. I just don't want the vet to come back at the end of everything and say $800 nor do I want anything to happen to my lil guy. Troy is small (4 pounds). Am I being overly anxious? Please tell me your positive experience with this because I feel I need a xanax or two over this.

| Jackson had dental surgery and a dental cleaning last November - he went to a top notch place (it was an animal dental center) so I did feel better about it. It gave me peace of mind, for sure, but the only reason we went there was because of his other tooth problem (they only take referrals). However if he ever needs another cleaning - I'll go there again! I felt totally comfortable leaving him there, and knew he was in good hands. All went well! He was super whiny coming off anesthesia, but other than that, was just glad to be home & was himself the next day.
