| Smokers Beware!!! A report on tonight's local news stated that dogs of owners who smoke are 60 percent more likely to suffer from lung cancer and contract other types of respiratory diseases than dogs whose owners are non-smokers. It went on to explain that the smoke gets trapped in their fur and sticks to the poor pooches . I am sure many people are not aware of this and unknowingly smoke around their babies. I just thought this was an important piece of information that I should share with my fellow YT community.

Same here we never smoke in our home or allow anyone else to. I never would want something I choose to do to affect others regardless if they walk on 2 or 4 legs.

| I have wondered about that.It does make sense for our pets to become vulnerable like humans in regards to inhalation of second hand smoke. Cathy andYoshi |

YT 5000 Club Member | Thanks for sharing the info! When my son was born, he is 18 months now, Mark started smoking outside! I don't smoke and can't stand to smell smoke so I am glad he isn't smoking in the house now!!!

| Ok I only smoke outside. If it's not go for the kids it can't be good for the little furbabies either. I wish I could quit. I tried more than once.
