| Do You Ever Wonder?? How long they are actually staring at you prior to you waking up? On the weekends, no alarms, get to sleep in til about 7 - 7:30, you dare don't want to move just knowing that as soon as you do, you are done sleeping . . .you crack open an eye, very slowly . . when almost immediately you are greeted with kisses and whines of delight . . . so it got me wondering . . .how long are you actually being stared at before you actually wake up?

| Plus, knowing most Yorkies, they are too impatient to get our attention to lie there too long with no feedback from us!!!

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Dogs I believe hear and read the changes in your breathing sounds as you are about to wake up. I know with my female and my male BRT, I literally begin a slow (I think quiet stretch), and one or both are right by my side sniffing and then kissing my face.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I think so too. Pixie in particular will be right in my face when I open my eyes so I know she knew I would be awake soon.

| Mina is NOT a morning person. She gets up about 8:30. If I wake up sooner,I just tuck her in on my pillow and go make coffee. When she finally wakes up she whines to be put on the floor. Now once the other dogs come down stairs she is a ball of fire for the next 4 hrs and noone is safe from being barked at or chewed on. Then we cuddle on my couch for a half hour and we start over until 10pm,then its like someone hits the OFF switch and she crashes until the next morning. |

| Good morning! Harry sleeps in a crate next to our bed...he tends to wake when we do (be it 6.30 a.m. during the week, or 10 a.m. weekends ) He's usually awake and gazing quietly at us when we do stir! What was strange was that I had to get up to go to the loo at 2.30 this morning - and he was sitting there gazing at us in the darkness?!!? It made me wonder if he just sits there all night, waiting for something to happen... It was really weird to see this posted this morning! Sally + Harry x |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Lol! That is a good question. Katie Scarlett always seems to be up when we arise. She goes straight in for her morning belly rub!
