| Gah....do baby yorkies loose their fangs? So, Sophie will be 6 months on the first of May. She's lost ALL of her front baby teeth except her sharp little baby fangs. She hates bed time. She sleeps on my bed which is most likely wrong. But since she's been teething, at bed time she bites. I have little bruises on my arm because of this baby girl nipping. Is she going to lose her baby fangs and grow bigger, not so needle sharp ones? It's also her first Summer, in Alabama, and she's not taking it so well. Advice? |

| Sometimes toy breed dogs do not loose their baby fangs. They can be removed at the same time a spay is done. Mina's adult fangs came in and for a short time she had two sets of fangs. |

| Uni had shed one canine, but not the other, so she had a double fang on one side. I suggest when she go in for her spay to have the vet take out all deciduous teeth that did not come out naturally at the same time. I would wait until about 8 months, any and all baby teeth that would have fallen out on their own would have by that time. The last thing you want is to deal with the double fang. (Well, not the LAST thing, but you know what I mean.) Food gets trapped between there and tartar builds up FAST bc most often times there is hardly any room between the two teeth. I was flossing Uni's double fangs for a while, but still yellow as hell. BTW, nothing wrong with your baby sleeping in your bed, as long as she knows it's YOUR bed and not hers.

| Callie's canine teeth did. It fall out and her adult ones grew in so they pulled them when they spayed her.

| I was just going to post about baby teeth, but did a search first! Charlie has 2 sets of canines. So I'm guessing the baby teeth that are bigger are the front ones. He is 6mnths old so if I hold off until closer to a year to get him neutered and teeth checked is that ok? Also, all the teeth he has are baby teeth and will fall out?!? I'm pretty sure he has the same set he has had since I got him. |

| Maggie didn't have any baby teeth retained. We have always given her lots of different things to chew and I think that is why they all came out. One of the things was one of those ropes to play tug of war. She likes to play tug of war with almost any of her toys. |
