| missing yorkie overnight My grandchild walked out and left my door open and my yorkie ran away. We looked all last night and all today. We live in Massachusetts so it is around 30-35 degrees overnight. Can she live being out in the cold? I am frantic and don't know what to do. |

| I'm very sorry. I wish I could answer your question. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...st-yorkie.html Are you on Facebook? If so, be sure to post to your town's website and also all of your FB friends and ask them to repost. Be sure to put her photo on there as well. There are also a number of Lost and Found FB pages that could help.

| How horrible for you. I hope you get her back soon. What is her name? What have you done so far to find her? The temperature will effect her but she will probably find a little cubby hole to crawl in to and keep warm. I have a friend who's yorkie was lost for several days in freezing cold and he survived and was returned to her. |

| This is seriously my worst nightmare! Post everywhere! * Craigslist * local classifieds * Post flyers around your neighborhood * Humane Society * Vet offices * Alert rescue groups in your area as well! Talk to your neighbors too. It might be a good idea to offer a reward for the safe return of your dog. Unfortunately, yorkies are dognapped A LOT. Check the pets for sale section for your dog every day. |

| I can't imagine how awful you must feel. Call the police, the shelters and start putting up posters. Keep going out and calling and walking around. Knock on doors and ask people if they know anyone who has seen your dog. If you can print out a bunch of pictures of her to take with you it may help. Some people won't know what you mean by a Yorkie. I'm sure those things are in the link that was given to you but just keep doing as much as you can. Your dog is somewhere. Someone may already have her. I hope she has some sort of ID. |

| The first thing I advise people to do is to flood the area with signs. Put her picture on them....and put REWARD in large letters...and of course your contact number. Many times people pick pups up and look for lost signs.

| Post some of your signs at any vet clinic in your area that will allow it...same for groomers, pet stores, feed stores, fast food restaurants, and local schools if they will let you. Kids will search for hours, looking for dogs that offer a reward!! Any place where teens hang out...they are also great about going after the reward offered! I hope you find your baby...please keep us updated...you know we all worry til we hear our babies are back..... |
