| Yorkie smells after going outside. How do y'all keep your yorkie smelling good between showers? When he goes out he smells. He only gets a shower once a week. I have a spray but he don't like it.

| That smell does not last long... But if it starts getting to me... My daughter wipes him down with doggie wipes. |

| I use Yorkie Sheen. It is a great detangler but also a great "freshener".

| When dogs go outside after being out there for a few minutes they let off a sent to let other dogs around know there is a dog near. It normally goes away after 30 minutes or so of being back inside. Callie will have that smell some times but really only actually stinks minus the doggy smell that goes away is if she has thrown up and it got n her beard or after she was digging and got dirt on her.

| Mine smell when they come inside but it only lasts a short time. This is normal and not anything to worry about..I do use Yorkie Sheen detangler daily for the combing and brushing.

| I agree Yorkie Sheen detangler smells great and lasts long. Khole smells fine when she comes in from outside. I need to find one that smells as nice for my bichon. I know exactly the outdoors smell you are talking about. |

| I'm having the same issue with ZoE. Since the weather turned warmer here, I've been taking her to our local dog park. Now she smells...especially her paws & legs. I'm washing them down before we go to bed, cos I don't want my bedding smelling like stinky dog, but I'm worried about such frequent washing being bad for her (she goes to the vet this Wednesday for her shots & checkup, so will be asking him). Maybe I need to look into dog wipes? Any recommendations for ones that aren't drying to the paw pads?

| I use bio-groom cologne for my little one. He doesn't care to be sprayed down, but he smells so good! In Louisiana heat it's a necessity, otherwise he'd be getting daily baths. |
