| When to start adult dog food? Yoshi is on BB adult kibble but Priss keeps snatching a kibble or two, well in reality she would eat it all if I didn't put it up so she can't get to it. So when do you change from puppy food to adult? Btw, she is on Blue buffalo too but for puppies.

| I am not sure if there is an exact age, Ralph went on adult food end of last year when he went for his check up, I asked the vet and she said to change him over. Ralph was a year and a couple months (: |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Why is it they always want the other one's food? I think Joey's puppy food said 10 months, usually puppy food has more calories than adult food and some has more protein. How old is Priss, and does you brand give any recommendations?

| Because they're just like kids and they always want what they other one has.

| Prissy will be 7 months the 24th and she still has quite a bit of puppy food left. I do buy in the larger bags for the better price. I will check her food and finish up this before I consider changing her to the adult...She does eat really well, not too dainty for a girl since she is such a chow hound but she has so much energy and being a little demon diva that she is, needs a good kibble.

| I started transitioning ZoE at 10 months. I bought a bag of adult while I still had puppy left and mixed the two together. She was completely on adult by one year.

| It seems I read somewhere that with Yorkies to start feeding adult food around 8 months, now where did that come from? I have read so much about Yorkies and Pekes that I can't keep up with what I have read. I will check with her vet.. It is funny that she is such a foodie and Yoshi was a picky eater...you just never know how they will do with their food.

| Joyce where do you buy the BB puppy. I live in a small town and tractor supply is the only place that carries it but they only have adult. |

| I buy mine at Tractor Supply and I agree when they do get the puppy kibble, it goes really fast. Why not ask them to order you a bag and call when it comes in? I only have a couple of places to buy it and I won't go to Petland. When I got mine at TS, they had 2 bags of the puppy in the 15 lb bags, so that is what I got.
