| Do you ever get asked.... I usually take Ralph with me and people always come up to me while I'm eating outside and want me to stud Ralph out with there dog!! Ralph has had the snip snip. But I'm always so applaud. Like I'm eating my meal hanging with my dog and you just come up and want to stud my dog? I would never stud my dog. But have any of you been asked this? |

| We were out in the yard with a Rott/Pit mix (unaltered) and a guy driving by stopped in front of the house to ask if he could breed our dog to his bitch. I cannot repeat my DH's answer here, though...

| We were in Petsmart when Couver was a puppy and a lady asked if I would stud him out. I told her I would never do that and that he was going to be neutered as soon as he was 6 months old.

| Yes a few times. With strangers, I just brush it off. Like they really go checking Kaji's undercarriage to make sure he has all the working parts. I just take I as a compliment that they think he's so cute. When I hear it from friends or family, I just want to slam my head on the table. It is no secret I am passionate about dogs, and I had said if I ever have a dog it would be a neutered male. I get whiny complaints from a family friend I grew up with who: A- doesn't care for dogs B- treats Kaji like scum C- thinks I'm silly for caring for Kaji the way I do It's surprising and really annoying that she's the one who wants me to stud my dog. "But he's so cute! He'll have cute babies. I'll help you sell them!" For the record, this is also the girl that wanted to know what was the procedure to un-neuter her neutered male chihuahua she inhereted and leaves to roam in the backyard.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | LOL, good reply! Yes, I've been asked about Joey several times, his breeder warned me I would be asked. I know many people breed dogs this way and pet buyers don't seem to care, they just want a cheap dog.

| When I took Miss Priss back to get her stitches out another Yorkie owner said her boy and my girl would make beautiful puppies. Well I said not my little girl, she's here to get her stitches out from her spaying. She said well why would you do that, you could make a lot of money by selling the puppies? I told her that Miss Priss is a part of our family and we didn't want her for breeding.

| I guess it's a compliment that they admire your doggie... But I don't think I'd even have the nerve to approach a young lady having lunch and ask about studding out her pup. Now I could see asking to pet her dog and/or admiring how cute, but I don't think that would even cross my mind.

| That's great I told someone the same thing. She asked if I would be interested in breeding Georgie with her Chihuahua. I asked her if she knew something I didn't because Georgie was neutered LOL

| Yea. I mean Ralph is super cute. I think a lot of people ask because his coloring like he is black but has a white spot of his tummy and then his mustache is brown. It's because his mom was white and his brother brown. But I always just say Ralph doesmt have the right equipment too Hahah. But ya I just find it weird. |
