| Yorkie Doodle Dandy Spring break is over and I've tiredly prodded myself back to my college classes. Well, I actually found motivation in an unexpected corner! In history we are studying WWII, and I was delighted that our professor mentioned the Yorkie Doodle Dandy story! Basically it's the story of a 4lb yorkie named Smokie, who ended up being considered a WWII hero. I rushed home and looked up all I could find on the Internet, and learned a lot about my current topic in history along the way, lol. Thanks to Smokey I'm confident I'll ace the next test.

| I teach Jr. high history and I tell my students the story. They all know about my love for Yorkies (Mrs. Beasley).

| I saw, and ordered the book! Lol, my husband will kill me, he thinks I spend way too much on books. Especially since I buy for my Ipad too, hehe. I think that makes a total of 3 Yorkie Books that should be coming home any day now.

| That is awesome! My major is Elementary Education, now of course I'm unsure if the class I teach will cover WWII, but if any of the grades I do teach in the future does I'll definately put Smokey into my lecture!
