| Thoughts on a second yorkie... I have a five year old yorkie, Logan. He's the love of my life. I travel a lot and take him on all of my trips. I have been thinking a second yorkie might be good for both of us, as Logan would have a brother or sister to play with and keep him company. Just concerned that I've been spoiled with how well Logan travels and what I would do if the second yorkie didn't do as well. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Or those of you that have travelled with two yorkies? Any input is appreciated!!

| I had Rosie for 4 years when we got Mikki. Mikki was one year old. I have never regretted getting the second yorkie. I am glad I did get her because it is so much fun to watch them play. I think they keep each other company!! As far as traveling, I take them both places all the time. I will not lie, it is harder than one but it is also very very doable! Good luck on your decision!

| That is a concern of mine as well. Sugar and I travel via air at least 5x a year and she goes with me just about everywhere else the remainder of the year. When I get a second, it is really important to me that I can continue to travel with the both of them together.

| Hi Sugarmamma! Check the airline that you travel with and see what their policy is on traveling with two dogs. For example, Southwest will let you travel with two if they are in the same carrier. That's not possible unless both Logan and the new pup are both small. Some airlines only let you have one dog per person. Since my Lola is a big girl, I end up buying an extra seat so that everyone fits comfortably. Just last week I flew with all three fur girls. It was hectic, but everyone did fine. The worst part is always the security screening. Traveling with two is possible. It is twice the work, but it can be done. You are wise to think everything through before making a final decision. Best wishes!
