| Could she had gotten pregnant on day 16 or 18? My 4 1/2 year old Yorkie went into heat March 4th (Day 1) meet with male on day 6, 8, 10, & 15 but no tie. On day 16 she was still bleeding a light color and tied with male. On day 17 her discharged turned to black? On Day 18 they tied again. On day 19 bleeding has stopped. Could she had gotten pregnant on day 16 or 18? Thank You, Rebecca |

| Thank you so much Carmen that is so helpful! Good luck on selling your pups, and your right so many want the tiny ones not understanding or knowing how they became so little and the health risk with them. This is my one and only time breeding her, my daughter wanted a pup as well as the young lady at the coffee house. I will keep a close eye on her and look for changes I just joined the sight this morning and was disappointed when I received two slaps on the hand right out of the gate lol. Thanks again for your helpful replay! |

| What are you talking about? My Destiny and the Father BJ are excellent breeds. She is 4 years old and I wanted to breed her before she is 5, it is her one and only time, I am wanting to keep a pup for myself. Why would I buy a pup for my daughter from some stranger or puppy mill when my Destiny will give a much better breed and I know she and the dad have been well care for and loved? I came on this forum in search for good, sound advice from others who have gone down this road. But I keep reading so much from people that just judge others and their choice to breed their own dog. Think I will look for another site, have no need for such negativity in my life. God Bless you |

| It is what it is, it is already done now. There are a lot of good breeders on here that might help you get through this. Please keep us updated and do what you need to do to make sure she is safe and so are the puppies.. After this litter please get her spayed

| I didnt see anyone getting negative. I hope you stick around and get advice. Not everyone is going to tell you what you want to hear. On a forum you get many different opinions

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Not to defend the OP, but i see this happen over and over, why do we have to go so negative in all breeding threads? she asked a very simple question and she should had gotten a simple answer, this is why people go, I thought we are here to enjoy the chat and HELP the humans that ask for help, not to judge their actions, if we help the human in return Hopefuly he dog will get help, we don't encorage anyone to breed, but I see that by the time they get here the deeds or their minds are set, and maybe we can change one persons mind, is not going to happen with negativity, you catch more flys with sugar than vinegar... Am I so wrong? I am starting to feel that all the negative threads hurt this forum more than help it.. just saying... hugs, |

| I think there is a fine line between offering help to those in need ~ but also not being a forum that encourages breeding willy nilly. There are valid concerns that people who are even thinking about breeding want to know. Not every two dogs should be bred - just because we want to. We all remember pet overpopulation, right? That hasn't gone away. As we have recently seen in other threads ~ breeding is not for the faint of heart - not to be taken lightly - and not without heartache.
