| walking on a leash So for the past few days I have been putting Juicy on a leash...attached to a harness of course..... and trying to walk her a lil...and get he used to being on a leash. Well...it has been a challenge...and yesterday...she acted like I she was dying...it was so funny...she would take off running like crazy....then fall over and lay there like she only had minute to live....she is such a character. So today....I do the same thing...but something great happens....she walks...then turns to look at me like....come on mommy...lets do this. I just love her so much...hehehe...we had a great walk...I'm so proud. Also this morning....that last 1/3 of her ear was standing up.....yeahhhhh

| Way to go Juicy!! Good girl. Max was similar -- took a couple of steps on the driveway and that was it (although he didn't play dead like Juicy ). My father laughed and said I was going to have an indoor dog. Within 2 days, we were off and running. He lives for his walks now.

| That is so sweet. I think that is one of the things about the Yorkie personality. They are so child like.....drama and all! Just let them think that they thought of it themselves! |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | What a great story! I was afraid you were going to say you were exasperated and didn't know what to do! I'm glad things seem to be working themselves out. She'll soon learn the leash is her best friend.

| yay to walking on a leash. i remember posting asking for help with the same leash problems. Good thing they seem to pick up on the leash thing quick. They know after a while it mean they get to go out and they all love that. If I pull out the leash there is no going back. lol |
