| Choking ! we had given our 5 lb Morkie a denatl bone mini and even though she's had these alot last night it got sideways. We turned her upside and shook her rubbing her and then popured some water and shook again ( not hard) it finally dislodged. Did we do right thing> Vet Hopst was outa question as it wouldve been an hour drive |

| Well, you got it out. I would have a vet take a look anyway to make sure it is all gone and that she is ok. Very scary!

| I would take a look at how to do the dog Heimlich and print it out and keep it on the fridge. I always buy bones bigger then what they suggest for Callie and throw it away when it gets to small.

| I agree! Thank goodness its out, but definitely have a vet follow up just to be on the safe side... These little babies can create such a big scare!

| Choking scares me to death with these little buggers. The trouble is, they can get choked on anything not just treats. I want to learn what to do too. My granddaughter just saved their little pugs life about 3 or 4 wks. ago when it got choked on a piece of meat. Scary. |

| choking google... dog Heimlich we did what the video said for small dogs. we did check to make sure throat was clear. It was more than scarey! |
