| Puppy hasn't pooped So I just got Zoe last evening. She is 12 weeks old. She did great last night, I finally got her to eat by hand feeding, she peed on the pee pad about 10:00. I got up with her every 2 hours and put her on the pee pad, but she didn't go all night long. Finally at 7 this morning she peed again. That's 9 hours! I had to hand feed her again this morning, then took her out for a walk and she did great, however it is now 9 30 and she hasn't peed again and hasn't pooped at all yet. I thought she would after she ate, but she hasn't, in fact she has now curled up on my lap and fell back asleep. Should I be worried that she hasn't pooped yet? |

| Hi there and welcome..did you happen to change her food all at once? Or just gave her what she was used to eating? I know the first day with Prissy, she pooed a lot but when I worked in the Blue Buffalo the pooing cut way back. I hope she gets this worked out soon. I remember how hard it is at first with a new baby.

| Also when you change their food, work it in with their regular food for a couple of weeks. That way it is so much easier on their tummies.

| How much & often are you feeding her ? 12 wk old pups should be offered food every 2 to 3 hrs & no longer then 4 so maybe she's just not gotten enough food to make a poo yet, Welcome to YT ! |

| Well last night I decided to soften her food with water amd warm it up. She ate without me feeding her and after 15 minutes she finally pooped. Now I feel like a bad momma, there are just so many things for both of us to learn. |
