| New to yorkies ... HI Hi everyone! I am new to the yorkie breed so I need to learn LOTS!! I got my Mia a couple months ago and she is a DOLL! She is about 1.5 years and I can't figure out her color or if it will change. Her "tan" looks to me red, and her body hair is cream almost white with a few black hairs every so often the roots look light gray. Her hair feels like cotton Will she change colors or are the roots always a bit different? She never barks and just as sweet as can be. She make the rounds at night making sure she sleeps with everyone. I have 4 kids and she LOVES them all Thanks for having me and I hope to learn more than I need to know |

| Welcome to you and Mia. Her color is like my Zada. Need to get her bangs trimmed or put in a pony.

| I can see how they can be addictive. I grew up with Great Danes (and have two now), so I was a BIG dog kinda girl....my daughter wanted the yorkie for YEARS we finally said OK....... I am just soooo in love with her.... I think of her as MY dog <3 |

| Oh, she is a sweetie. I also had a great Dane before we got Ruby. I love great Danes, I think they are an exceptional breed, but we lost our girl to bloat. I couldn't bear to get another. So we got little Ruby, and recently we added Riley. So yes, yorkies are very addicting! |
