| I tip regardless if it's the owner or not. Not tipping an owner theory flew out the window yearssss ago, well in NY it did. To the OP original question "how much to tip" I would round it off and give $15.00, make it an even $100. Just the convenience of me not having to leave my house, the time I save bringing to and picking up is worth it.

| I always tip with most services that are provided. For a mobile groomer, I think $10-20 is appropriate.

| I haven't been to my hairdresser in over six months and believe me, I need a haircut! But Piper comes first. Her groomer charges about $30 and I always tip between $5-$8 and Tammy is worth every penny. She really listens to what I want and doesn't take it upon herself to do it a 'better' or 'right' way. I trust Tammy and know Piper will look and smell adorable after each visit. So glad I found an excellent groomer for my girl (maybe I should ask Tammy if she does humans on the side...??). |

YT 2000 Club Member | dog I have a groomer come to my home and groom my 2 Yorkies in my laundry room sink. I give her $100.00 for both. Now I do not have her very often. I can wash, dry and clip or scissor them most of the time. When they get looking too furry, she comes. My friend has the mobile for Max. No trips to the petstore and come home with a razor burn or bad clip. She pays 35.oo plus tip. Well worth it to avoid a trip out of the home. Dogs are happier and you can go see what is going on. I am so against pet shop fly by night groomers. If you can get someone you know and trust at the shop do that. Lots of these groomers do not know how to treat a dog or clip them. They hit them with the brush or yank on them. Makes me sad. My Tuffy was hit he became so skittish and that is when I stopped taking them out. |

| OMG my mobile groomer charges $70 and I have to hold her the whole time because she is scared. I do not tip. I am actually researching quiet clippers to groom her myself.
