| Questions We will be bringing home our new babies on Friday. We are getting 2 females that are sisters. I have a few questions if anyone can help. 1. Potty training. I purchased the puppy apartment and plan on using it to train the girls. I also want them to learn to go outside so that when we are out or go on vacation, they will be able to use the potty outside. How should I do this? Can I train them to go in the crate on the pee pad and the outside at the same time? Should I only train them one way and once they have that, work with them to go outside? 2. I have seen a thread about yorkies not getting along. This really worries me. I have never had 2 pets at the same time, especially dogs. I had one before and after she died, I felt so guilty about having to leave her that I am getting two this time. I am hoping it will be good for them to have each other when I cannot be here. Does anyone have two from the same litter? How do they do? TIA Amy |

| Welcome to yorkie talk. Congrats on your new girls.. As for the potty training , sorry i don't have any useful advice there. I have a 6 month old boy and potty training is not going well. As for them getting along , i think being sisters from the same litter they will be fine. When they get older they may have a few squabbles just like human siblings. I am sure you get lots of wonderful advice on here. Yt is a great place ... |

| I have 2 sisters from the same liter and they get along great. We got Gracie 1st., she seemed lonely at times. When she was 6 months old, we had an opportunity to get her sister, Katie Rose. They recognized each other right away and they play constantly. Katie Rose has been so good for Gracie. She eats better, sleeps better @ night. We never regretted having 2. They are now 13 mos. old.and a real joy in our retirement. |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | How exciting! Congrats on your new babies. We use the Potty Training Puppy Apartment too. We love it! It has been a wonderful experience! It came with a instructional dvd that I went by. Is this the same thing you are talking about? We ordered ours from Modernpuppies.com. I let Katie Scarlett get used to that before I started introducing outside potty too. She rarely will poo outside unless we are on a long walk, but she will pee pee out there. But sometimes she will hold it and use the PTPA as soon as she comes in. She likes it better I think. As for using it for 2 at the same time, I am not sure about that part. I'm not sure about the getting along part. I only have 1 furbaby and she is my first. Good luck to ya!
