| My yorkie poo Benzley is sick today Hi i am so worried about my lil 1year old Benzley. She is usually very happy and playful and full of energy and last night she started vomiting all her food at first and after an hr she started throwing up yellowish until she couldnt throw up anything. So i gave her a tiny bit maloxx to settle her stomach and slept the rest of the night. So today she didnt eat anything just rested all day, tried giving her water which she barely took. She did poop normal lastnight with no diarreaha and lathargic all day. I thought maybe she will feel better tomorrow since she didnt throw up all day, but she jumped out of bed to throw up again and this time it was just a little brownish red it smelled like blood. Can anyone relate??? Im not sure if she got into something Im taking her to Vet tomorrow for sure. Please help with any advice. Thanks, Glenda |

| With this much vomiting I think I would be going to the ER tonight as these little ones dehydrate quickly. |

| I can relate my little man was sick over the weekend also. He threw up about 11 times in a hour. But after he stopped throwing up he was back to his normal self. I think he got into something he wasn't suppose to. Let us know how your baby is doing. Hope she feels better.

| Benzley is all better!!! Hi ! Thank you all for advice. This morning Benzley woke my hubby and I with kisses and was jumping on and off the bed. Big change from yesterday whew!! I was prepared to take her to the our Vet this morning. But thank God she is fine, maybe it was something she ate. My other dog Brody has a collection of toy hampsters that he just loves to play with because of the noises they make , and we thought possibly Benzley swallowed a piece Brody chewed off the toy hampster????? But who knows what she might have eaten. I really have to watch what she puts in her mouth. All those plastic parts are toxic ! Thats it with those toys around Benz. And now this evening she is her old self and I am so greatful!! Glenda, Brody, Dugan and Benzley |

YT 2000 Club Member | So glad she's feeling better. When I buy new toys for the furkids, even our big furkids, the first thing I do is come home and start pulling on them. If anything comes off when I pull on it, that part goes in the trash and I sew the hole shut. I also remove the tag and any strings attached. I also check their toys a lot to make sure no holes have been chewed, if so, I sew it, if it isn't sewable, I trash it. Hope she continues to be her self and doesn't get sick anymore.

| Oh my gosh do i feel dumb! and like a bad mom. I was at a appointment today with my son and my daughter calls me to tell me that Benz wasnt feeling good again, she was throwing up little bit of yellow and shaking. So after my sons appt. we rushed her to the Vet. The vet examined her and wasnt running a fever and looked at her stool and vomit samples i took for her and said it wasnt alarming. She thought maybe Benz had ate something that she was not supposed to and just stuck around and made her sick . So anyway , the vet ended up giving her antibiotic shot and another one for the vomiting and send us home with antbiotics- amoxoccilan. Geez I cant figure out what the heck went wrong from one day to another But when we got home she was acting well again, playing andjumping around like she was never sick. Shes doing better tonight but im still worried and the Vet say if she does get sick again to take her back for xrays andblood work ugh! |

| OMGoodness! I am so sorry. I cannot really give any advice on whether or not there is something medical going on, but maybe look at things like her food...what's in it, maybe she's sensitive to something in it, etc....and everything she can get her mouth on. Maybe isolate her to an xpen or gate off a 'safe' room for a few days, or keep her with you so you can see everything that she can get to. I'd be suspect of anything she can lick, including anything used on her, floors, cabinetry, etc. as far as cleaning products, laundry stuff, etc. There is some reason, even if it is not obvious yet. Please update, though...concern here is genuine!

| Benzley is looking fine so far... and believe me we are keeping a close eye on her and watching her every move. I have fixed her some chicken and rice and shes eating well. I dont know why but I keep thinking that maybe just maybe she swallowed a piece of the squeaker to one of the toys that we discovered was missing so I am going to get rid of all plastic toys!! And she does tend to put everything in her mouth. Shes such a brat, and I just Love love love her !!! I will keep you posted on her and hopefully she will have a full recovery, just praying she will be ok!! |
