| I was late Yes. I was about an hour and a half late coming home tonight and I was told that Kacee had been parting the patio door draperies, looking out, and crying for me! Said she looked at them as if to say, "Where's Karen?" and that is so sad, because Muffin used to look at them the same way when I was late. The only difference is that Muffin didn't cry! For those of you who have people at home with your yorkies during the day, do your yorkies do things like that?

| I am a stay at home Yorkie Mom but the stories they tell me when I do leave here make me never want to leave. Teddy first goes and throws himself against the door, then he lays by the door and cries and once he settles down he goes and sits on the back of the couch and waits until he hears the garage door at which point he goes into doing happy dances.

| My dogs (all yorkies) all know exactly what I'm doing all day long. They KNOW when I'm supposed to be home and when I'm not, my mom has to come by and pretend she's me. She does pass as me for a while, but in the end, they know. They're creatures of habit and they are very bonded to you. Once they love you, they are very dependent. That's why it's soooo important to have them a playmate to kill time with if you're not going to be home all the time. Poor little thing.

| I've been home full time with my 6-pack, but a friend had to have surgery and I am helping out part time for a few weeks. Boy has discipline gone downhill in our house. They are way over-excited when I get up and start getting ready to go, and again when I get home. It has really messed up their schedules. I think they run amuck while I am gone and are so exhausted by the evening. I keep thinking they are sick, but they want to be held so so much more. I will be glad when she is back and life can get back to normal.

| Lucky hates it when I leave! Every time I take out the trash, he runs to the door barking like crazy & then tries to bite my ankles before I get out!! Then he runs to the bay window & watches me the whole time! Sometimes he even gets real mad & poo's in the window! That made me mad, but he did it because he was mad at me for leaving! |

| I have to go to Florida next week and I am not taking any of the yorkies... I am so worried already because there will only be my two men at home to look after them and one works all day , the other is in school or basketball or watwr polo.... I am writing very detailed instructions and getting the dogs more used to the xpen during the day, but I am still going crazy wondering how I can be without them for this long. They and I are so spoiled because my shedule at home means I am rarely away from them. There are very few places they cannot go. I know they will survive but I will be a basket case. |

| When I get ready to go to work my little Daisy gets mad and ignores me. But the second I walk out the door she starts crying for me. Sometimes my husband is home all day with her. He says she just sits and stares at the door until I get home. He gets so jealous at how excited she gets when I come home. He says she just looks disappointed when she sees that it is him. If I go outside too get something and come back in a minute you would think I was gone a week. You gotta love it though. |
