| Lab work fasting guidlines WOW- just got off the phone with the vets office. They hired a new girl and she is not the sharpest tool in the shed (hey- trying to be nice- grrrrr) Anyways, I need to have Lex's potassium bromide levels checked via bloodwork. I cannot get a straight answer as far as fasting. I give Lex her meds (liquid) via a turkey slider burger (yep- total spoiled brat!) Not sure if she needs to be completely NPO or not. Any thoughts? I am going to attempt to call back later and hopefully get an intelligent lifeform to speak to Anyone know the fasting guidelines for bloodwork? Thanks in advance for letting me vent!!!
