| DogTV- The First TV channel for dogs Hello there, Okay, so am I crazy if I got really excited when I read this?: We Are Their Voice {Stop Animal Cruelty} DogTV is a new cable television station programmed exclusively for dogs. That’s right, it’s not for owners to watch, but for the dogs themselves. DOGTV is a 24/7 digital TV channel with programing scientifically developed to provide the right company for dogs when left alone. Through years of research with some of the world’s top pet experts, special content was created to meet specific attributes of a dog’s sense of vision and hearing and supports their natural behavior patterns. The result: a confident, happy dog, who’s less likely to develop stress, separation anxiety or other related problems. DOGTV is recognized by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), and uses concepts widely supported by leading organizations including The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) as a valuable product that contributes to the enrichment and quality of dogs’ lives. I’ve never heard of anything like this, but anything that helps stay-at-home dogs relax is ok with me. I wonder what my dog’s favorite show would be. DOGTV - Welcome to DOGTV The First Television Channel for dogs YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. Have you watched it yet?

| I've seen previews off and on all week. Too cool. I did hear this morning on GMA that right now it is in the San Francisco CA area and in 6 months should be nation wide. I hope so. I think it would be great to turn on when I leave Bella home alone. :-) |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I've seen the promos for this channel and think it could be a wonderful tool for pets/owners. The thought came to mind though, we're a society that tends to let television be the babysitter for our human kids, to their detriment, IMO. I wonder about what the same will do to our pets after a few years of watching? Will Hollywood have the same type of impact on our pets?
