| To cold outside I am thinking I can not let Sadie outside now that the temps have dropped and the snow is finally here. She goes out with the pack, no longer than 5 minutes. and when they all come back in, she shakes for 20 minutes. I will just let her use the potty pads I guess. She always wants to go out but always freezes. I feel bad but I aint taking no chances with this girl. Anyone else have this problem?

| I agree! The first snow just started 5 minutes ago and it's already covering everything! We just bought Bailey a new "horse coat." very very fuzzy inside and weather proof. Good luck with the snow and your babies!! |

| Bailee uses potty pads in the house. He is a wimp and doesn't like to go outside if the temp is below 60. He doesn't like to wear clothes either.

| Prissy goes outside but on a covered porch, still covered with blowing snow, I can't get her to use the pee pads, I wish I had started her out with them but alas it won't work now. I can't let her out in the yard since there are so many strays, coyotes and such. We live on 38 acres and my babies can't go out into their own yard.

| Have you tried a sweater or jacket? It was really cold when Callie had to do her physical therapy walking so I would put her jacket over her her fleece shirt she had on and it would keep her nice and warm.

| In the 20's here. Rosie seems to be ok but Mikki just shakes like crazy. I am keeping a sweater on her right now. BTW my Walmart had sweaters for $1!

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Katie Scarlett is pad trained, but she loves to go outside. But I have noticed that on days it is snowing, she will not budge from the front door on her own. I think she does not like the cold. I have taken her out once in the snow and she seemed to like it once we got out there, but she would not go. She came in and went straight for the pee pad. So now on really cold days I either do laps around the house to give her a bit of exercise or we suit up and go to Petco/PetSmart/etc. I know it's indoors, but at least she is out and walking. And again, when I take her out to those places she will not pee...even outside. She will hold it until we get home and she has her good ol' pee pad.
