| Those who have 2 yorkies Can you tell me the pros and cons? I am torn. I want to get two so that they have each other (busy mom, RN, business owner), but I am scared to commit. I don't want to make a mistake and regret buying two. TIA Amy RIP Coco 12/25/11 |

| Maximo loves having his brother Teddy for company, but my boys are not self-entertaining. They still look to me all day to amuse them. The advantage: lots of love! The disadvantage: it's double the work, double the expense. It's much more difficult to take 2 anywhere, and the boys dislike if I leave one behind (the one left at home isn't alone because grandpa is always here, but they both want to go out).

Yorkie Yakker | I have to Yorkies one is 2,6 yrs old and the other is 7 months old (boy & girl). If you get two it will be rally good that they grow up together...however it is double the work, expenses, etc.....it a bigger responsibility. However the pros are that they enjoy each others company, they´ll play together will cuddle and also entertain themselves (at times)....you will also get doubble the love, kisses and licks i bought a doubble leash so i could walk both of them at the same time with one leash!! (it is very handy) Theyll still need a lot of your time to play and will look for lots of love and attention!.

My furkids Donating Member | We just got our 3rd...a little guy this time The pros~they keep each other company, play together, although they still want us to play too. And there's A LOT of puppy lovin! The Cons~ vet expenses, food (although they don't eat like big dogs) Oh Ya....and there's less room on the couch when you are relaxing at night,

| Ziva (almost 3) enjoys having a pal- Abby (7 months), but she is not all lovey with her. Ziva was getting very possessive and bored- those habits have gone away. The cleanup after two isn't bad, food isn't much more, vet has been minimal (except the $200 recent spay), I groom myself otherwise that would be a bit much.. Having a puppy again after having a perfectly trained one is really the only time I question the second one. |

| I agree with above pros & cons. But they are by nature pack animals. I always have at least 2 dogs. I believe they enjoy the company if left alone for any length of time. I work & I hate to think one of mine would be all by themself. Got both my yorkies grown...but they have learned to play & play with each other. So cute.

| I have two also. I adopted Tia at 10 weeks when Ally was a little over a year old. Ally is not quite 13 months older than Tia. I had a pekingese that was old and sick and knew she would pass soon and knew it would affect Ally. Ally looked at me to entertain her and was super active. Ally changed her habits drastically once Tia came home. I was so upset that Ally changed (sitting with me, hyper, fetching toys, etc.), that I almost regretted getting Tia as a playmate. Tia was supposed to be Ally's size so she wouldn't get hurt. She is just over 3 lbs and I never thought of her as small......until Tia started growing and growing! lol I do have to watch them because I am afraid Ally will get hurt. (Tia accidently bumped Ally off the couch and she went into shock, which was terrifying!) Tia just turned two years old and is twice Ally's size. Tia is dominating; Ally is very submissive. Two very different girls.....but I love them both!!!! I wouldn't change a thing.... Ally loves to play with Tia and they are best friends. I could not leave one at home without the other. I loved to take Ally places, but can no longer do that unless someone is home to watch the other one. Both girls love to cuddle with me; one on each side of me. Ally will sometimes come to me for piece and quiet because 'hyper' little sister is trying to play and she doesn't want to! They do love each other! |

| We have worked our way up to FOUR this past year!! Pros: They always have a playmate!! More to warm you up when watching tv!! Lots more kisses and happy little faces when you get home! Cons: more to potty train! (and more to blame when theres an acident because you dont know who the true culprit is) More food and treats and toys and clothes and bows and shampoo and and and and!!! lol MORE VET BILLS!!!! Be prepared!!! All of my crew are also covered by health insurance..... More to groom! Overall....I cannot for a second regret any of our additions!! I love each and everyone of them. My original baby, Bevo still gets more outings with momma... I try to make each one feel special in their own way, but he will always be momma little boy!!! Good luck with your decision!!!!

It is harder to take the second one places, and we used to take Gidget most places w us. The increase in pottying I also miscalculated. It is nice in the eves. DH likes that the youngest stays w him in the eves and is his shadow. It is twice the love and twice the cuteness. I have some health problems, though, so it might be a little easier for those w more energy! They are darn cute, though!

| I never thought I could manage 2 and nowI have 3 and let me assure you they have grown to love eachother and cant be apart. They get easier to handle. We take them mostly everywhere and when they stay home, they keep each other company. We have a 5 yr old, a 2 yr. old and now a 1yr. old. They bring so much joy to our lives!!! After having 1 precious dog that passed away last January, for 15 yrs to having all three now, is a big a glorious change. |

| We got 5 here but Molly is a foster, although I do not believe she will ever leave us. Not a big market for blind, puppy mill Yorkies, but that is ok cause I love her to pieces and she is just fine here with us.
