| Constipation Hello everyone. I am new here and am hoping for some assistance. We have 2 Yorkies, male and female. Our female, Moxi, is nine months old and just finished her first heat cycle. We did not let her mate with our male, Dusty as we felt she was too young. For the past 2 days Moxi has been constipated and I am at a loss as to what to do. Her appetite is excellant but I fear she does not drink enough water. How do you make a dog drink water? I am having to bath her almost on a daily basis due to this problem. I read on one website to give them mineral oil or olive oil. Then read that we should never give them mineral oil. Would someone here please give me some advice? Thanks loads! |

| You can try apple, which is real good, or pumpkin. (not pie filler)Even alittle honey sometimes will help. The apple helps mine more than anything else. Hope she feels better. (be sure & peel the apple) |
