| Peeing on my good rugs. I thought my yorkie was trained but it has turned out he's not. He does use his pad but I have found some pee spots on my wool rugs. What has made him start doing this? I have put 2 pads down for him.

| Rugs are often confused for pee pads you might have to take up the rugs for awhile and get her only using the pee pads. I would also clean the rugs with a neutralizer like natures miracle before putting them back down

YT 1000 Club Member | I totally agree. I had similar accidents in the beginning so I picked up ALL the rugs. After a few months I introduced the rugs again and was pleased that Romeo never "used" them again.

| I'm no help. I have a beautiful oriental rugs that somebody has peed on (with 2 you don't know who did it) and I have cleaned it with everything suggested but on damp days I still smell pee. I've used Natures Miracle, OdoBan, baking soda and peroxide and multiple other things.

| I have kind of the same problem, mine poops on my memory foam rugs in the bathroom!!! I have taken them up, but now we are pooping in the floor.. She did great on potty pads for months without accidents so I am not sure what's going wrong. I am leaving her at home during the day due to a new job and I used to take her to my old work with me so that prob is why we are acting out.. |
