| Baby Hair Hi, All. Suzy Q is ten-months-old. She'll be going to the groomer's for the first time in three weeks. I'm debating if I should grow her hair out or have it cut. She's a parti Yorkie with wiry hair. She is good at being brushed and letting me trim the hair around her private parts and eyes. If I grow her hair out, should I have her baby hair trimmed off, or can it stay? Anyone else have a long-haired Yorkie that doesn't have cotton or silky hair?

Mine are both silky, but don't hold her to the 'wiry' hair. She is a puppy and her hair is not final at 10 weeks old. Congratulations on your parti baby! I am certain she will be gorgeous regardless of whether she is clipped or full coated. Myself, I'd at least want, at some point, to see what her full coat looks like.

| You're right. I really want to see what her full hair is going to look like. Her sister has cotton hair, which I keep trim because she doesn't take well to being brushed. Her cousin has long silky hair and is just gorgeous. Suzy's hair is very different from the other two, so it will be interesting to see what it's going to look like. Thanks!
