| My Beautifull little baby girl! Hi Evedrybody, When I lost my beautifuol baby girl Candy to that place in the sky at the end of 2010 I just had to get myself and the family another beautiful yorki because I have found that not having such a beautiful dog in the house is just unbearable. My new little baby girl is now 18 months old. what I forgot what when my last little baby girl Candy was young she had my children to keep her from getting bored and my other dog was also very young at the time. what I have now found is that my little baby Jazzy does not have anybody to play with and she does get quite bored for long periods of time. I spend as much time with her as I can but I cant play with her all the time. I also have a fully grown Samoyed who she gets really angry with because he just refuses to play with her. also I have 4 cats who are all fully grown and also refuse to play with her. She sometimes looks at me and I can see she is asking me to get her a friend. I would really love to do this but I am a little concerned I must admit. I want to because I would really like her to have a play mate. I have some questions to ask you all which will really help me to make my mind up as to whether I should get her a brother or sister or not. If I put it into questions it might be easier for you to help me. 1. Is it too late for me to get her a friend right now. 2. Would It be better to get her a sister or a brother. 3. Should I look for a yorkie or a different breed. 4. Should I get a puppy or a dog nearer to her age. 5. Is it the right thing to do or not. 6. Would it be too late for them to bond if I got a little puppy. I would so grateful for your answers to my questions as it would really help me to make my mind up. Regards Katie |

| 1. Is it too late for me to get her a friend right now. No it is not too late. I got Mikki when Rosie was 4 years old. 2. Would It be better to get her a sister or a brother. Females do fight. Mine play together a lot then the next thing you know it is on. Lol. I would say probably a male. 3. Should I look for a yorkie or a different breed. I would want another Yorkie. But I also love my parents Shih Tzu 4. Should I get a puppy or a dog nearer to her age. Hopefully someone can answer this one for you. I am not sure. Mikki was one year old and Rosie was 4 years old. 5. Is it the right thing to do or not. I don't regret getting my 2nd Yorkie. I am glad I did it. 6. Would it be too late for them to bond if I got a little puppy. Again, someone else hopefully can answer. Good luck with your decision!

| 1. Is it too late for me to get her a friend right now. It's never too late! 2. Would It be better to get her a sister or a brother. It really doesn't matter. I have four Yorkie girls and there's never been one second problem and they are 7 years, 7 years, 5 years and 4 months. 3. Should I look for a yorkie or a different breed. If you look for a different breed try and do your homework first to see what kind of temperament it will have, and make sure it will be around the same size as your Yorkie. Frankly, I'd go with another Yorkie. 4. Should I get a puppy or a dog nearer to her age. There again, if you get another Yorkie, age should not matter. It sure didn't in my family. 5. Is it the right thing to do or not. If you can afford all the additional expense and have the time and energy it takes to care for them, then I say go for it, and give your little one a brother or sister. Personally, I'd never have just one. 6. Would it be too late for them to bond if I got a little puppy. No, not at all. Look at all the older dogs on here that have had a puppy added to the family. Sometimes the older one may be a bit put out, but it doesn't last long, and soon they are chasing each other having a great time.
