| My Poor Katie I just got a phone call from Pet Crematory and they said that Katie's ashes are back and I can pick them up whenever I'm ready. The words she actually used were "Your little girl is back." Now I'm a big weepy crying mess all over again. I'm really excited to be getting this new puppy tomorrow but my heart is still broken over losing my Katie bear.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Oh wow. I don't really think those were the best words to use. I know how you feel Jen, it'll probably be hard, just know that Katie loves you and she's still with you.

| I think she was trying to be nice. There are no words good enough to say at a time like this. |

| Katie is watching you from above. She does not want you to be lonely anymore. She loves you and wants you to be happy. I believe having another little baby will help. Nothing will replace Katie, but it still brings happiness. At first, I felt guilty getting another puppy after Lacey died. But, I just felt so lonely and empty after she was gone. I feel having another yorkie will ease the pain. Lacey was our only dog and it is just too quiet and sad now. I still don't have my puppy yet. But, should have her in the next 2 months! (She is not born; yet) My puppy will possibly be ready by February or March depending on what breeder we choose. Undecided between two people. I am soo excited as well. Good luck with the new puppy! |

| These situations are so tough- even the kindest of words can be upsetting. Katie can never be replaced, but your new baby will help fill the void left behind. Last month, my cousin and her husband lost their dog to cancer at the age of 2. Their breeder called to offer them another dog a week or so after they lost Abe. Java, their new dog, has made a world of difference in their grieving for Abe. They had Abe cremated, and he is in the living room with them. They still miss him and would do anything to get him back, but Java has helped heal their hearts. I know that you're hurting, but things will get better. |

| NO that was not a good way to word it, but I dont really know of a good way to say it though.. I wish I would have had my 16 year old cat cremated, but at the time I was so wacked out, it didn't enter my mind.. I wish it would have.

| I can't even begin to image how you feel...But...I think you should focus on what you able to control right at this moment: You can bring 'both' your girls home together! I know it is not actually bringing Katie back home, but in a sense you are bringing her back to the family where she belongs and at the same time you are bringing home your newest addition. You, Jim, Codie, Katie and 'Baby Girl - not yet named ' are all ONE FAMILY. Please try to be Happy together once again... |
