| Toy in laundry bin Has anyone tried putting toys in a (dirty) laundry bin before giving it to your pup? I tried it with a christmas toy I forgot to give Sophia... she is going CRAZY over it! Santa is definitely her new favorite toy. She already ripped his beard off . Poor Santa!

| no, but since dogs seem to like the scent of dirty laundry this might be a good idea! |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | At first I thought your question was about washing their toys, and I just wanted to say I do that all the time and I've had great results, but you've told me of a way to have them look clean yet still have a wonderful scent, thanks so much. Too bad there's not a "dirty laundry spray" you can buy!

| I promise I'm not a clean freak, but all I could think was ewwww I'd be too worried about bacteria from dirty laundry getting on the toy. Blame it on some 20/20 type show where they tested people's dirty jeans...

| Hahaha. I figured it was no different than what Sophia is exposed to when she runs off with dirty socks!

| Well, no I haven't put them in a laundry basket but I do put them on the bed at night and sometimes cover them up. I guess she does not like the smell of the toy factory or store because some new toys she will show little interest in until they have been around for a few days. I think it is the scent of the toy that effects her. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Lol, I'm willing to sell it to anyone who's interested! I didn't realize there would actually be a market for it, but for those who are germaphobes; this would be so much more sanitary!

| I would buy it!!! If I could have 5 toys that Sophia REALLY loves instead of 50 that she kinda loves, I think it would be a win win!

| The other day my mom stopped at the pet store to grab some treats for me and got Callie a toy and on the way here she kept rubbing the toy on my dad and now Callie is obsessed with the toy. I think they like the scents of the people they love. My moms beagle loves dirty clothes lol it so funny because my mom will throw the whites on the floor when she is washing the colored clothes and you can hear Buddy (the beagle) rolling in the clothes because he's old so he makes ugh noises when he is rolling around and sometimes she even finds his collar in the clothes.

| Yeah that's what I was thinking... Harley sadly goes for the dirty under garments not the socks Naughty boy.... he's no longer allowed in the bathroom where we keep the hampers.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I could see Katie Scarlett getting excited over that! Tee hee! She loves to run off with dirty laundry around here. We always run behind her saying 'you little sh*t.' ROFL! We say it in a loving manner though! I normally do not use language like that, but it just comes out without me thinking. Whoops! When we were visiting my Mom for Christmas and I said that I got in trouble...well as much trouble as a 28 year old can get into by her Mother. She just kept saying 'Aymee...don't call her that!' But she was laughing too!
