| How did I ever get this old and NOT have a Yorkie! I can't believe that I went through life and never had a Yorkie until 3 years ago! They are like potatoe chips; you can't have just one! I am hooked. My 3 year old female "Little Bug" had her first litter in July of 2011 and of course we kept the girl. My friend and her husband, who have no children, and never owned a dog, bought 2 of the males and are those dogs spoiled and loved immensely! My Shih Tzu and the 2 Yorkies sleep in my bed. Savannah the pup sleep next to my heart all night. I think a Yorkie is God's lap dog! |

| Hi and Welcome to YT! I see you're hooked, Lol! I had been wanting a Yorkie since I was 8 years old... so when I moved out on my own, I got one, and have had one ever since. Now I have 3 and a Biewer. I also wanted a Himalayan cat, and just adopted one 3 years ago (shouldn't have waited so long on that one!).

| Welcome to YT. I would like to share this story. Charmer a 15 year old Yorkie (who's person died) was adopted by Mr. Waller who is 92 and this is his first Yorkie. He is in love with Charmer and said, " I always liked the big ones (dogs), I just didn't know what I was missing. Charmer is pretty much like having a best friend who takes naps when I do. He is real good company, and fits right in the recliner with me."

| I used to be a big dog only type of person until my daughter insisted on getting a Chihuahua. She has been the greatest little dog that she won me over so much that I only want dogs smaller than 10 lbs from now on. It took me a long time to find a Yorkie in rescue or a shelter that wasn't snatched up instantly, but now I have Sparrow. She's such a cute little girl, and she's awesome. I would get another Yorkie or Chihuahua, but I have always wanted a poodle like the one I had as a kid. I didn't really spoil her as much as I should have because I wasn't that into little dogs. |

| My fiance and I have asked ourselves the same question. If I'd known a yorkie would be as awesome as Oz, I would have had one my whole life. We added Oz to our lives in June 2011, and we're in our early 40's. I'm positive we will have yorkies for the rest of our days.
