| Sophia said "How rude!!" How are you going to go about this? Sophia is a little "fluffy", but her vet didn't recommend the D word yet.

| This really made me laugh. Thanks for sharing. I wouldn't be too happy if the doctor said I needed to cut back on my chocolate and peanut butter intake too!

| Too funny. I do sympathize ... I hate dieting, but I hate putting pups on a diet even more. It is awful. My Pippi and Armani have weight problems....and they hate diet food but everytime I put them back on regualr food they gain weight. It has to be genetic I swear. None of the others are like those two...and they are littermates.

| My vet just tells me that my boys and girls don't NEED to gain anymore weight, we just ignore him and they tell each other that Dr. White needs to lose a little weight.

| Dr. Creswell knew better and my new vet in Indiana hasn't said anything about it. Lola is only 9lbs and super sturdy for her size so I think shes nice and healthy. Dr. Creswell did demand I put Sammy on a diet when he'd reached 110lbs and Sam and I looked at each other like "Yeah.........not gonna happen"

| Awwww poor girls!! It's so hard to put them on a diet. My stepmoms Dachshund mix has been on one but he still does not seem to be losing much weight. He's very fat though. Being kept lean is so much better for their joints and long term health so just think of it that way!

| My vet told me the same thing about my bichon. She has lp and he said it would be better for her knees if her weight stayed down. Well I put her one and she is slimmer. The vet praised her on her annual vet check. I could have sworn she was smiling from the praise. |
