| Hey, That is someones beloved pup up there!! It is common for their eyes to shine like that just as people get red eye.

| I guess you don't know because you haven't been here long enough but this has been the picture for a while. The dog doesn't have "devil eyes" it's just a reflection of the tapetum lucidum. Nonetheless, for a short while they had another picture (of the same dog) with a little halo because he passed away. The picture is in memorial. I like the picture, it's cute! It reminds me of everytime I get a good pic of my dog I always get eye shine...

| Personally, I like that the eye shine was left.... seems more authentic to me in a way. I hate it when someone does a bad editing job to take the reflection out.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I don't know if I've seen a pic of Yoda w/out his green eye flash - I love it! It seems to be one of Yoda's signature moves . He's a darling boy.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Fair question, but I've come to love it. You go to some dog forums and every dog appearing on them is perfect -- groomed to perfection, toplines that you could balance a level on, professionally photographed, dressed for the prom ... I don't know about the majority of people, but my Yorkies don't look like that. They look, uh, a little scruffy 99 percent of the time. And many of my pictures are blurry or have glowing eyes. Yoda's picture in the masthead makes me feel like it's my kind of forum. It's not pretentious. Yoda is the People's Yorkie, and it's because of him that we have a forum at all. Long live Yoda's glowing eyes

| Mia's eyes glow like that...greenish gold or yellow gold, and Brody's eyes glow green, aqua, or blue. That puppy is completely focused on the photographer...completely aware he's being photographed...and loves it! I have an extensive collection of glowing-eye furbutts...my babies love their mommy to take their pictures...
