| Expensive dirty closet.... So lets just start by saying everyone is ok now... well last night I had a holiday dinner with my agility people. so the bf decides he didn't want to come out with me, so he stayed home with Harley, and did some laundry. So we went out to a nice resturant, and there were about 20 of us, so it was loud, 2 hours later I look down at my phone and see 11 missed calls. Well at first I figured my mother was being annoying or something then I realize they were from the bf. So I run from the table and call him, and ask what's wrong and he's like, "well the crisis is over now" and I'm thinking "what crisis, wth happened?" "Oh Harley and I just got back from the vet, he jumped in the closet when I was in the basement (closet in our bedroom), and my degree (framed university degree) and some other stuff fell on him and he got stuck in a bag, and when I got him out he limped into his crate and wouldn't come out for cheese." (he also told me at first he thought he got out, cause he wasn't making noise and he couldn't find him, which scared me even more) I'm panicking at that point cause I just switched vets, and asked him where he went, well somehow he remembered the location of my new vet office thank god, and got to the new place, it was 7:30p when he got there and they close at 8p they graciously took him in, so he didn't have to go to emerge. Well of course once he got in the vet lobby Harley was back to normal, and wanted to play. So he paid $85 to be told he may have some bruises in the morning. I got home 2 hours later and everything was fine, the bf sucked it up and said don't worry about the vet fees, "it was my fault I'll handle them". So I'm going get the insurance stuff dealt with for him today, but boy what an eventful night. Had to share this, cause this is the first time Harley has had one of those emergency vet runs that turned out to be absolutely nothing. My insurance is going to hate me this month...lol

I'm showing him today how to do proper tests to see if a real injury has occured, cause Harley is a drama king, if you step on him he wines for 20 minutes and sulks, so you really need to know what to look for to see if he really is hurt. But I'm glad he's ok. The bf looked at me when I got home and said, "it would have been cheaper to come out for dinner tonight..." and we laughed.

| After I found out Harley was ok, I couldn't help but giggle a bit! That sounds like something that would happen to us. I'm so glad little Harley is not hurt.

| Oh yes there was some giggling here too. I made a point to tell Harley he was a trouble maker when I put him to bed.

OMG, not even for CHEESE????? Happily... everything turned out okay and the lesson learned is that we have to YORKIE-PROOF EVERYTHING... forces us to be neat and put things away, shut doors, empty waste baskets, etc etc. I am off to police the area right now. Hysterical story, thanks for the grins

| I think its awesome that your boyfriend went ahead and took him to the vet when he was limping and acting weird and I'm very glad that Harley is ok.

Yes he did go clean his closet after that one, so that the door would shut. Mine doesn't always close but I only have a comforter in there on the floor, so if he gets in my closet the worst thing that could happen is he would pee on it

| I think this BF will be a keeper. All kidding aside, 85.00 is a small price to pay. That could have been terribly bad. Glad Harley is ok.

| Yes and I believe 80% will be covered from my insurance, cause I have accident coverage. Thus far I've only used illness coverage so he should actually get most of his money back
