I dont know what to do about Marley! I dont know what to do!? This afternoon i went to take marley for a walk, than when we came back i tried to open the door and there was something wrong with it so i got locked out. Had to call my sister to come pick me up. I got to her house around 12 and wanted to feed marley something but there was no dog food so i cooked him an egg.around 530 marley threw up the egg. Also last night i noticed marley threw up what appeared to be hair a little piece of a leaf and im guessing the toliet paper he got to....i do pay close attention to him but sometimes when we go outside and he puts something in his mouth its such a struggle to get it out and by that time its already gone! But anyways hes laying on my lap right now and i gave him some nutrical. He ate fine this mourning his regular food and he ate a little but of his food when we got home but i think hes not eating because hes tummy upset, He was playing at my sisters than after he threw up hes been layin down....if i put him down and call him over he'll come. Im bringing him to the vet toamrrow i just wanted to know if any of you ever expierenced this before?! Am i over reacting??!!

| Bil-jac has a TON of sugar and preservatives. It's not one of the better foods out there. Try Canidae, Wellness, Innova, California Natural, Chicken Soup, Natural Balance... There are so many that are better foods, just read the ingredients. Avoid corn, by-products and preservatives. You have to switch SLOWLY, over a week or two. His tummy is probably upset from the egg. Give him plain boiled rice, that might help and it can't hurt. Also, please don't let the vet talk you into Eukanuba or Science Diet. Again, not so good. Good luck!

Throwing up can be a good thing if they get rid of whatever shouldn't be in there. Toilet paper, leaves and whatnot need to come up. Maybe the eggs upset him too? Taking him to the vet is best. If you decide to change food do it slowly and find a DRY high quality kibble. Shelby is picky except she loves carpet, paper, wood chips, rocks etc. but she loves Nutro lamb rice puppy food. Not sure why he feels hot but don't give him any medicine...even though it's tempting to want him better NOW. Upset stomachs take time. If you continue to be concerned or he starts vomiting repeatedly...take him to emergency vet. Last edited by shelbysmom; 11-29-2005 at 05:15 PM.

You can give him some nutrical and some pedyalite. Is good taht he ate something, if he vomit again I think blend rice is best. Keep an eye on him and take him to the vet. I think you shouldnt give him no antibiotics or cough meds until you see your vet. Maybe he has an upset tummy. Good luck. Please keep us posted. I will pray for him to get better soon.

I know exactly how worried you are. I have been so worried about Roxy and TJ many, many times. I have been to the Vet with TJ and his mucus poop/blood/vomit sooooooooooooooo many times. I still worry but I am much better at controling it. I think you should not give him any meds without speaking to the Vet first. I am sure that his tummy is very sensitive and it is best to let his tummy calm down. Just watch him. I totally agree with the other suggestions: #1 Pedialite and #2 Nutrical (not too much Nutrical though b/c it too can upset his tummy and give him soft poop) Please keep us updated.
