| Leia won't eat Hello! As some of you may know, I recently brought Leia, a 2 yr old female, into our home. She has been good so far, just one accident in the house. However, she won't eat her food. When I put her food bowl down, she backs away from it. If I hold a piece of it in between my fingers, then she will take it and eat it. I know that this is not good habit, nor can I go on forever doing this. Our other baby, Tucker, eats with no problem. I have tried feeding them at the same time, putting their food and water bowls in the same area, putting them in separate areas, etc. Nothing seems to help. Even if I put it in her crate with her, she won't eat it. What the heck is going on? I keep thinking that she will eventually get hungry enough and eat. I don't leave their food bowls around full of food all day. Tucker gets fed in the morning, and then a little more around dinner time. I am trying to do the same with Leia, but I don't want to starve her either. Any suggestions on getting her to eat her food at the scheduled times? |
