| DH is finally ready!! He came to me and finally said he is ready to get another puppy! We both took losing Kiwi very hard and him especially since it was his "watch" (as he says) and I know he has blamed himself and feels responsible. I always try to reinforce it was not his fault it could have happened to anyone, but I know he still has a very hard time with it. But he has decided that after the craziness of holidays are over he would like to start looking around for a new little boy to add to our family! I am going to admit I have mixed emotions about getting another little boy...I am saddened because I still miss my first furbaby everyday and I don't want to feel like I am "replacing" him, but also happy and excited to get another little furbutt to love and cuddle.. Not to mention that my hubby has finally forgave himself enough to decide he's ready Also Lola can have a best friend and brother to play with and keep her company when we are not able to... I look forward to the upcoming months and will keep everyone posted when we finally decide on our new addition! Wish us Luck

| I'm happy to hear everything is falling into place and that your hubby is making some headway in the right direction. Hope to see your new family member after the holidays.

| Ok, so besides being the crazy dog lady, let me tell you this......several years ago (had no dog at that time) I went to a psychic/card reader. While reading my cards she said, "I see little white dog with little paws (I had had a male Bichon, who had passed on at 17yo just the year before) and HE said to tell HE wants you get another dog". Let me tell you this total blew my mind for awhile but the following Christmas my dh gave me a gift certificate for a yorkie. You will not be replacing him-no two are ever the same. They all have their own personalities. He will be honored that you are loving and caring for another little guy.

| Thanks! Lola is going be sooo happy! She LOVES dogs; big or small, old or young...she doesn't care All she wants to do is say Hi and play It will be interesting to see how she reacts to a pup in "her" space, I do love the excitement and anticipation of getting a new furbaby and all that goes along with it!

| I am happy for you . When we lost our yorkie Baby we felt as you did. In the end we felt good about getting Sophie. It was a kind of tribute to what a good little dog Baby was. We are so blessed to have our little Sophie now. I think you may feel the same way.
