| IMHO I would not give it to a dog as small as my yorkie (if I gave him any table food, which I don't). That hard kernal part that is sometimes on the popcorn, I think is hard to digest, at least for us, so I would not take the chance. I always err on the side of caution though. I suppose you could break the popcorn and make sure your yorkie only gets the soft part. I am sure that you can check with your vet and they would tell you. |

| Popcorn (unsalted, unbuttered, etc) is actually on most "okay" people food lists for dogs. I wouldn't give it all the time but I think a bit in moderation would not hurt anything (again, though, not the kind loaded with fat, butter and salt).

| My two absolutely love popcorn! I've never ever purposefully given it to them, but I've never successfully had a bowl and not dropped a piece either As soon as we start popping the stuff their at our feet waiting for a kernel to fall.

| I always wondered about popcorn, figured it wasn't too much different than the sticks and acorn tops they pick up outside? I do keep them near me by feeding a tiny bit at a time so no one else can overfeed them. |

| My dogs love popcorn. They do all their tricks for a piece or two. With that said, I give it to them only if air popped w/ no butter, oil or salt on it and I only give a couple of pieces.

| All 3 of mine eat popcorn and they love it! So far it hasn't caused them any problems, but I only give it to them occasionally.

| I choke on a piece of popcorn many a time, so I wouldn't give it to ZoE.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | My dogs absolutely love it ! It is their only form of people food that they are aloud to have. But only occasionally and in very small small portion ( 4-5 piece) at a time. They know that when they here that bag poppin in the micro wave that it is snack time.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I confess I give this to Joey as well, like the others have cautioned; don't overdo it.
