I tell him to sit then go hide and let him try to find me, when he struggles I call his name to help of course I have a treat! Any games others play? |

| Yogi will play fetch until I can't throw the toy any longer. I've never seen him quit. lol Not original, but it's a game he LOVES! Gracie Ruth likes to play "soccer". She'll bring me a toy and want me to kick it, not throw, but kick it. She then positions herself to "catch" it with her paws. She gets upset when I get one by her. She'll run to it, growling and yammering at it. Gives it a good bite or 2 and then bring it back to me to kick again. She'll even place it on my foot sometimes, then backs off a pace or 2, crouches down on her front end and wiggles her little bum in the air waiting for the next round. Boo like to play tag. He'll run up to me and bump me with his bum and then when I turn around to look at him he'll take off running. If I don't chase him, he'll come back and try again with another bump. He'll run hard for a short distance and then let's me catch him because being "caught" means he gets a scratch on the back from me. I'll walk away and he'll come bump me and start it all over again. Bonnie doesn't really play too much yet. But I have found in the last month that if I get on the floor and scratch her sides real fast and tell her what a pretty girl and good dog she is, she'll get the zoomies. It's a start and way more then she did 9 months ago when I got her. Hopefully it'll continue and she'll find a game she likes to play.

| My Yorkies are kind of routine game players. We do, get the ball, peek a boo under the quilt, who gets to sit on Mama's lap. They play tug with each other and do zoomies around the yard and house. They all, critter guard ( chase birds, cats, opossums and squirrels out of the yard.) Our lab Lily is far more interested in creative type games. She loves hide and seek with treats or toys. She will dive under water to get a stick or toy too. Lily loves the Agility course at the doggie park. Lily will keep doing it on her own when her daddy finally quits and sits gasping on the bench. Lily will play ball and mid air frizbee catch until we have to quit. She takes toys away from the Yorkies and lays on them. They climb all over her in frustation, barking and trying to dig it out from under her. She also loves to catch them asleep on the sofa with their little fleece blanket. She grabs the blanket and runs like a warrior with a captured battle flag. Once she pulled Abba along with the blanket, When he hit the floor, she stopped and sniffed him all over. When she determined he was ok, she took off with the blanket. He chased her barking wildly as usual. Life is never dull around here.

| These are all wonderful game ideas, and you all have given me some games I didn't know about, too! Our Brussels mix (Sprout) likes to play fetch and "cat herder". The funny bit is that they don't mind. He runs behind them and shoves his face against their hip, and heards them into a room. They play along. As for Bella, she likes to play peek-a-boo. I'm teaching her how to do the trick "Say Your Prayers" and ...she decided she likes to throw a peek-a-boo into the mix. She'll Say her prayers and then pops her head up really fast..then back down again, then up again, etc. She looks like a Bella-in-the-box. |

| Bailey and I play hide and seek. First I take off running (not a good idea for an old man). He takes chase. Then Natalie will grab him as he rounds the corner and I'll go hide. When I give the word, she'll let him down. He takes off running around the house looking for me. It's very funny. I have to stop chuckling everytime I hear him run by me. Only one time could he not find me. But now, he sniffs every single spot I've hidden in the past. I'm running out of places to hide. |

| Max loves to play chase around the house, fetch (surprisingly because I didnt even teach him to bring the ball back), we wrestle, hide and seek, and when I play the piano/keyboard or turn on music he dances!

My kids look around for places to hide when I start singing along with the radio. And if, horror!! I pick them up to dance with, they nearly break their necks trying to look the anywhere by at me.
